During this Great Week, the most important time in the Church’s year, we travel with the Lord Jesus through the events of His passion, death and resurrection.

In normal times we would commemorate these events together in the cathedral but sadly, this year, events prevent us from doing that. However, although the doors will be closed, the liturgies of the Triduum will still take place during Holy Week.  We will pray them for you.

Whilst at home you can join with us in prayer at the same time.  Perhaps by praying the rosary, or following the words of the ceremony and the scripture in your missal or on Universalis.

The times of the ceremonies are:

Maundy Thursday
Mass of the Lord’s Supper: 7pm

Good Friday
Liturgy of the Passion: 3pm

Holy Saturday
Easter Vigil: 8.30pm

Easter Sunday
Mass of the Resurrection: 10am

The Archbishop’s reflections will be posted on the diocesan website.

Unfortunately, we do not have the facility to live stream but many parishes do and details may be found on the diocesan website
