Our celebrations of the Solemnity of the Epiphany begin on Thursday 5 January with Solemn First Vespers at 6pm, to which all are welcome.
On Friday 6 January there will – in addition to the 7.30am and 12.30pm Masses – be an additional Solemn Mass at 6pm. Please note that the Epiphany is a holyday of obligation.
Epiphany Chalk
A basketful of chalk will be blessed at the 7.30am Mass on the Solemnity of the Epiphany. This may be used to bless homes for the new year (instructions will be provided) and will be available in the Cathedral from 6 January onwards.
