After the best part of a decade assisting at St George’s Cathedral, Fr Stephen – who turns 80 this year – is stepping down from his role, with a view to concentrating on his ministry and commitments in the Philippines.
We are immensely thankful to him for all the help and support he has provided over the years, and grateful for the many ways in which he has shown kindness to the clergy and faithful of the parish. There will be an opportunity to thank him in person after the 10am Mass next Sunday (28 August), at which he will be the principal celebrant.
