St George’s Cathedral, Southwark, formally the Metropolitan Cathedral Church of St George, is the Mother Church of the Archdiocese of Southwark, which covers the London boroughs south of the Thames, the county of Kent and the Medway Unitary Authority.

Music
St George's Cathedral has a well-established musical tradition, with a diversity of styles represented at the different Masses, ranging from congregational hymns and Mass settings at the 10am Family Mass sung by the Cathedral Consort youth choir, through plainsong and polyphony at the 12pm Solemn Mass sung by the Cathedral Choir of choristers and lay clerks. There is also a Junior Choir for younger children and the Cathedral runs the Southwark Singing Programme.

Evening of Reflection for Readers

There will be an evening of reflection for Cathedral Readers on Monday 28th March (7:00 - 8:30 PM) in the Amigo Hall.

We are pleased to welcome Mark Nash (Director of the Diocesan Agency for Evangelisation and Catechesis), who will lead the session. Please register via the parish office or this link.
