It is with great sadness that I have to tell you that Archbishop Peter died on Friday evening. He had been in hospital for the last ten days, following a diagnosis of cancer.
Archbishop Peter was our bishop and friend and we will miss his humour, his care and straightforward approach to life and faith. May the good Lord receive his faithful servant into paradise. May he rest in peace.
Archbishop John will offer the 10am Mass for him tomorrow (Sunday 8 March) and can we please remember Archbishop Peter in all our prayers.
