Celebrate Advent and Christmas at St George's Cathedral with our schedule of special Masses and services. A full listing is available to download below and to pick up from the back of the Cathedral.
The season begins with the First Sunday of Advent, on 28 November, when the first candle is lit on the Cathedral Wreath.
The annual Cathedral Carol Service, lead by Archbishop John Wilson, is on Thursday 16 December at 7.30pm. All are welcome so please invite family and friends to join us.
On Saturday 18 December from 10.15am to 5.15pm we will be holding ‘A Day with Mary’, which will include Mass, Adoration, confessions, devotions, sermons. See dedicated day programme for details here.
Finally, join us for Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve to celebrate the Nativity of the Lord at the Cathedral. There are also a number of additional Masses and services on this day and during the Octave of Christmas.
