St George’s Cathedral is helping the local community cope with the cost-of-living crisis at the same time as preventing tonnes of good food going to waste with the Friday breakfast club and Community Fridge, run in partnership with the Oasis Community.
We are seeking volunteers willing to give four hours or more most weeks to help the Community Fridge expand. There is also a particular need for able-bodied volunteers on Thursdays to collect food supplied by bakeries, etc. Training in food handling will be given.
