St George’s Cathedral, Southwark, formally the Metropolitan Cathedral Church of St George, is the Mother Church of the Archdiocese of Southwark, which covers the London boroughs south of the Thames, the county of Kent and the Medway Unitary Authority.

Music
St George's Cathedral has a well-established musical tradition, with a diversity of styles represented at the different Masses, ranging from congregational hymns and Mass settings at the 10am Family Mass sung by the Cathedral Consort youth choir, through plainsong and polyphony at the 12pm Solemn Mass sung by the Cathedral Choir of choristers and lay clerks. There is also a Junior Choir for younger children and the Cathedral runs the Southwark Singing Programme.

Nadia Eide Winter Concert

Nadia Eide, Soprano will be giving a performance of Carols and Holy music as part of her 2025 'Winter Light' tour.

A spectacular Christmas concert for all ages, including festive favourites and with a special guest choir. Friday 21 November, 7pm to 9pm. Doors open 6.30pm.
