On Saturday 29 February the Rite of Election will take place in the cathedral and there will be no 12.30pm Mass. During the Rite of Election those who are due to be baptised or received into full communion with the Church at Easter are presented to the Archbishop.
Because of preparation that needs to take place the cathedral will close after 12.30pm Mass on Friday 28 February and re-open at 5.30pm for 6pm Mass.
