On Wednesday we celebrate the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception.
This is the great feast of the Church that reminds us that the Blessed Virgin Mary, in the first instance of her existence, and by a singular grace and privilege granted by Almighty God in view of the merits of Jesus Christ, was preserved free from all stain of original sin. As well as our usual Masses at 7.30am and 12.30pm, there will be a Solemn Mass (with music) at 6pm.
