Ash Wednesday is on the 26th February this year, marking the beginning of the season Lent.
Ashes were imposed at all Masses which will be at 7.30am, 12.30pm and 6pm. The 6pm Mass is a sung Mass, presided by Archbishop John Wilson. Ash Wednesday is a day of fasting and abstinence.
During Lent there will be an additional weekday Mass at 6pm. Stations of the cross take place at 5pm on Sundays.
