Gift Aid scheme
Updated:
26 May 2017
If you are a member of the Gift Aid scheme, please collect your envelopes for the coming year at Masses on 3/4 June.  We also have “special collection only” Gift Aid envelopes available for those who donate by standing order; please let Simone know if you would like a set.
It is important that you pay enough tax to cover the tax we (and any other charities you support) will reclaim on your donations.  If your circumstances have changed so that you no longer pay tax on your income, please let Simone know; alternatively, please send an e-mail to: info@stgeorges.org.uk.
If you would like to join the scheme, which allows the Cathedral to reclaim tax on your donations, or obtain more information, please speak to Simone or one of the clergy after Mass.

Flower Pots
Posted: 19 May 2017

As spring dawned the flower pots outside the cathedral were filled with colourful pansies that have now been replaced by bright red geraniums. These pots, bought with your generosity, have helped to brighten the front of the cathedral and make it more welcoming. Grateful thanks  to James Green who has worked so hard to produce this array of colour as well as the beautiful floral displays we see in the cathedral. James could do with some help with watering and routine weeding etc. If anyone can give a little time please let Canon Richard know.
