We will only sign the school reference form if we know you.

Friends of Cathedral Music Grant to St George’s Cathedral
23 Jun 2017
We are delighted to announce that the Friends of Cathedral Music have decided to award St George’s Cathedral a grant of £15,000 towards the provision of new choir-stalls.
This is a particular cause for celebration, since it is the first time St George’s has ever received funding from the Friends of Cathedral Music, and it will make a major contribution to the overall cost. The new choir-stalls will greatly enhance the appearance of the chancel and will enable the Cathedral choirs to project their singing more effectively into the building.
Needless to say, we are extremely grateful to the Friends of Cathedral Music for this generous grant, and we look forward to the arrival of our new stalls during 2018.
There will be a formal presentation of the grant at the 11.30am Solemn Mass on Sunday 15 October.

If any parishioners would like to send their children but can't afford it, the St George's SVP group may be able to offer a limited number of subsidised places at the Camp, on a first come first served basis. Please call 07716 533621 to request more information.
